    Case Study

On the request of Bristol Festival Community Group (BFCG) Off The Cusp project managed, gave creative direction and designed a new website tailored to their needs for promoting, selling and listing events and artists.
Managing 8 talented and eager junior designers and 2 middleweight developers to produce the website over a 3 month period.

The design concept was based around the promotional material, this was also being designed alongside the website by Off The Cusp.

A paper 3D cut-out scene had been created and photographed to provide all the necessary elements for the flyers, posters, festival guide and website.

After this was created we focused the team on the end objectives and how the imagery would fit into the wire-frame of the website. These are the final designs that were agreed upon by BFCG.

After discussing how and what BFCG needed, we decided that WordPress was the best platform to build on as social media and integration was a major priority. The website framework is still being used, proving the capability of the design. This was a key design specification as the website had to mimic the promotional material every year for continuity reasons.
